The interior design of MSY Mutiara Laut represents a harmonious fusion of eclectic Asian with classic European craftsmanship in an effortless symbiosis of modern stylishness and old world charm. The resulting effect – beautifully supplemented by the intricate carvings of Balinese artisans – is that of a “Floating Luxury Hotel” complete with all the high-end amenities.
Indoor Lounge
The indoor lounge is a fully air conditioned public space that offers a welcome refuge from the heat or the occasional rain shower. Stylishly decorated with gems of Indonesian indigenous art, the lounge houses a long dining table which is separated from a cosy seating corner by a central bookcase containing the library and the central entertainment centre, where movies, documentaries or dive courses can be presented on the large flatscreen tv.
Guest Cabins
The VIP suite at the stern of the vessel is the spacious and simple yet elegant Master Cabin. Decked out in gleaming timber from floor to ceiling, there is ample storage space in the walk-in wardrobe, a comfortable desk and seating areas with natural light flooding in through the large windows.
In the four midships Deluxe Cabins, an ensuite vanity with washbasin separates the private shower on the one side from the toilet on the other side.
These cabins also boast a 200×70 cm couch/daybed which can easily be converted into a comfortable single bed.
The two Superior Cabins in front have a trapezoid shaped queen size bed and offer fully private bathrooms with open-plan shower, vanity with washbasin and toilet.
The abundant use of various tropical hardwoods in all cabins creates cosy yet functional rooms, that get direct daylight through two portholes in each cabin. Cabinets with hangers and shelves provide ample storage space, each cabin has a safe deposit box and privately controlled airconditioning.
Special attention has been given to the bathrooms, which all come equipped with a handheld hair dryer, branded amenities and ample power outlets for electrical appliances. In the Master Cabin, it runs the full width of the cabin and includes double vanities and an open-plan shower decorated with intricately handcrafted tiles.
The queen sized beds are made up daily with crisp linens, a large size duvet and multiple pillows with pillow covers, while fresh bath and face towels are provided for every guest.
